What is Nationally Accredited Training?

Accreditation shows that a course meets national Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) standards and leads to a nationally recognised Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) qualification. The AQF defines all nationally recognised accreditation and provides a single framework for all qualifications from senior secondary certification to Doctorate Degree.

ACATA recognises the qualifications from two training sectors, VET and HE. The table below displays what qualifications fall within each of ACATA's membership categories.
